My love of travel started later in life, actually. After having spent most of my childhood days in my hometown suburb of Chicago, I was introduced to international travel for the first time in my late twenties. In fact, I flew across the globe by myself to meet my husband in Germany! To say I experienced culture shock is an understatement - but I still fell in love with experiencing new cultures, trying new foods, getting lost in new cities, and discovering how big and beautiful the world really is. One of my favorite travel quotes is "I'd rather have a passport full of stamps, than a house full of stuff" and I am learning that you can have both!

My international trip changed me. It showed me that travel isn’t just about seeing new places — it’s about expanding your sense of self, stepping into the unknown, conquering fear, and realizing you’re capable of more than you imagined. Every trip after that deepened my curiosity, my confidence, and my appreciation for the way travel connects us to people, stories, and moments we carry forever. And I want to share my passion with you.
